What is “Costa das Ondas”?

“Costa das Ondas” represents a sustainable tourism product concerning the surf in the area Ferrolterra – Rías Altas. It is led by the community of municipalities of the region of Ferrol and the surfing sector. “Costa das Ondas” seeks the satisfaction of tourists by making them part of an unique experience around surfing. This product aims to be innovative, authentic, high-quality and different. It follows the principles of environmental and socio-cultural sustainability, social responsibility, innovation and public-private collaboration. With the aim of creating quality jobs in the sector, its ultimate goal is to make surfing a sign of the region’s identity.
